  1. Student Birth dates
The birth years of some student records were very far out of a normal date range, so it's not possible to determine if these students have "aged out" of our festival. For example, a couple of students are as old as Jesus, several are from medieval times, we have a few post-war baby-boomers, and there are some 2- or 3-year-old toddlers playing fugues. A handful of students have traveled back in time from the future to play for us. I must now appeal to you teachers to examine and, if necessary, correct your students’ birth dates. As you start your data entry, please check your students’ records to make sure all information is accurate. Please remove the records of students who are not longer eligible due to age, or who have left your studio.

  2. Student Record Accuracy
Every student record should accurately list the student’s true address and other contact information. Using your own address and phone for all your students is not advisable. In general, students are only contacted by festival chairs when the teacher cannot be reached. But without the correct contact information in the student record, students and parents might miss out on urgent information.
  3. Your own teacher profile
This would be a good time to check your own teacher profile for accuracy, especially if you have moved , changed phone numbers, or changed email address. If you have changed your email address, you should notify the webmaster so he can update the login database. This will ensure that you will be able to automatically retrieve your password if you forger or misplace it. Always provide your name, teacher ID, old email address and new email address when notifying the webmaster.

Thank you for your cooperation.
